5.1 Respond to the Lord Neill Review of the FOS.

5.2 Publish the submissions to the Lord Hunt Review of the FOS.

5.3 Adopt Recommendation 12 of the EQUI Report of the European Parliament:

"The Equitable Life case has revealed a number of serious shortcomings in its operation. The committee therefore urges the UK Government to address these shortcomings, strengthen the FOS's capacities and ensure that it is truly independent from the FSA and from the government itself."
